Full Moon in Sagittarius * Natural Expansion

Updated: Jun 4, 2023

Star Notes * June 3, 2023

Dear Star friends, Bonjour,

Welcome to the expansive and adventurous energies of the Full Moon in Sagittarius, which is exact at 11:42 pm EDT on June 3rd. Thank you for joining me on all these journeys to the stars. I felt inspired to begin this post with a guided visualization. Please get comfortable and take some nice deep breaths.

Imagine that you are driving out of a city and heading towards a quiet countryside. You find a beautiful, serene hilltop overlooking the city and lush nature around it. This is a magical place and you discover that you have the ability to fly! See yourself with powerful wings or comfortably connected to a perfect hang glider or any kind of fantastic flying machine. You know that you are safe and can fly effortlessly anywhere you want to go. Take some time to soar and explore the world from this magical and elevated perspective. There are so many things you can see! Because the Full Moon is in Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter in Taurus, allow yourself to fly on wings of joy (Jupiter) and peace (Taurus).

Sagittarius is the cosmic Archer, a powerful, fast moving and philosophical archetype that asks us to stretch our focus towards a bigger picture, and expand our horizons. We need to feel a strong sense of freedom and joy in order to take leaps of faith beyond the noise and turbulence that dominate the surface airwaves. Sagittarius rules our leg muscles and reminds us to walk, run, dance or fly to explore new places, experiences and dimensions, joyfully and enthusiastically. There is definitely much chaos and confusion in some areas of the world, but it is important to cultivate the most peaceful, grounded and compassionate presence we can at all times.

With Pluto, Jupiter, the Lunar Nodes and Venus all forming a grand cross or grand square configuration, we are collectively arriving at evolutionary cross roads. We all have choices to make at this juncture. Do we stay on the course that is familiar yet uncomfortable or do we step confidently into the new energies with total trust and faith in the flow of life that feels more natural, lighter, easier and simpler? Jupiter has recently come into an exact alignment with the North Node in Taurus and is beckoning us to expand by more deeply connecting with nature, all things natural, and the physical practical pleasures of life. Since the North Node represents our future destiny, Jupiter asks us what we want to bring with us into the next phase in our journey. What resources, beliefs and values are worth preserving and cultivating more strongly, and what needs to be recycled and composted?

Mercury, cosmic Messenger, will exactly conjunct Uranus in Taurus only a day after the Full Moon. This is very significant because Mercury and Uranus share a similar frequency; Uranus is said to be the higher octave of Mercury. We have an opportunity to expand our thinking with the creative power of the galactic mind. We could experience some intellectual breakthroughs and sudden flashes of creative insight. This mental lightning can also stimulate new ways of communicating with increased clarity and authenticity. Ultimately, this Full Moon sky is an invitation to awaken to a higher level of consciousness.

On the topic of galactic awareness, Neptune will be forming a close square aspect with the Galactic Center for many months this year and in 2024. This influence could increase psychic sensitivity and access to higher dimensional realms. I am sure many of you are feeling that time and reality are becoming more fluid. We are becoming more aware that we are human and spiritual beings.

Venus is also strongly emphasized at this time. The bright and lovely Evening Star forms a smooth trine aspect with Neptune in Pisces and then forms an opposition to Pluto. We could be feeling some really tender, loving creative energy before the Full Moon and then some more powerful dynamics flowing though our relating instincts after the Full Moon. While it may be somewhat uncomfortable territory, bringing our loving presence to the places we tend to avoid can deliver us into greater wholeness and well-being.

I love to quote the words of my good friend Shelley Young who channels Archangel Gabriel because her posts always resonate so perfectly with the astrological currents. Here is a great affirmation and message to embody the wisdom of this Full Moon. “I choose to nurture my relationship with joy. Even if I don’t know where I’m going, it is safe to pick the path that will hold the most joy, because joy and authenticity go hand in hand. So let's all go forward shining our lights like happy, hopeful little fireflies, knowing the perfect matches are out there for us if we just have the courage to allow ourselves to be seen, and to respond to the connections that come into our awareness when they make themselves known. You must have the courage to open yourself up to all that is truly possible for you by being willing to show the world who you really are, which allows the universe to respond to you in kind. All you need to do is allow yourself to be seen.” ~Archangel Gabriel through Shelley Young, trinityesoterics.com

May we embrace the rich, magical tapestry woven into the cosmic currents flowing in this Full Moon! Wishing you all excellent adventures and beautiful flight!
