STAR 🌟 NOTES: March 21, 2026
Dear star friends, bonjour,
Sometimes, words alone can’t fully describe the uncharted, intense, roller-coaster, paradigm-shifting times we are living through. Feelings, instincts, intuitive visions, and sudden inspirations are becoming stronger. This spring equinox portal feels like that. Thank you for joining me in reflecting on all of this through the celestial lens of astrology.
I feel inspired to begin this post with a blessing—a prayer and an empowering mantra. May the rebirth of the light and power of the Sun at this spring equinox reawaken your unique inner light and spark new flames in your sacred soul fire.
Like all solstices and equinoxes, we are now in a time of deep energetic realignment and recalibration, harmonizing mind, body, soul, and spirit. This allows our wiser soul-spirit intelligence to lead the way forward. The human mind is very powerful, but it is also easily conditioned by external messages and repeated thought patterns. It is so important to return to inner stillness every day, and redirect our focus to what we feel in our body and heart, to regain clarity and trust in our inner truth.
We are transitioning between Pisces—the last sign in the zodiac cycle—and Aries, the first sign, representing a rebirth of life force energy. Pisces energy is still very strong. We recently had a New Moon in Pisces on March 18, and there are still two planets and the North Node swimming in the nebulous waters of the Fishes.
Pisces is a mutable, flowing water sign, ruled by Neptune, god of the oceans. It is often linked to an increase in flooding in many areas of the world. Here in Sudbury, we just experienced one of the wildest snowstorms in years, and it’s taking many days—and many hands on deck—to clear the snow. Even though it was challenging for many, it also sparked a beautiful spirit of cooperation among neighbours.
It’s easy to feel the shadow expression of Pisces: confusion, deception, illusion, fantasy, escapism, and addictive behaviours. Yet water energy can also facilitate powerful cleansing and release—for individuals, humanity, nature, and the planet itself. I recently saw this message on my tea bag: “Without the storms and rain, life would cease to be.”
Masses of people are processing layers of grief, fear, and uncertainty, and it’s important to honour this healing with compassion. There is also grace: “Grief reminds us that our heart is still alive.” ~ Dr. Jazz Nejat
At the threshold of Aries, Pisces can echo a higher intelligence that comes to us through dreams, symbolic messages, and synchronicities. Like a whisper from the universe, these subtle messages remind us who we truly are, where we come from, and guide us toward the new life we’ve chosen.
On March 20, Mercury stationed direct in Pisces, just hours after the Sun entered Aries. After three weeks of Mercury retrograde, you may have received a flood of insights, realizations, and guidance on how to move forward, trusting the flow of your intuition. This spring will usher in major developments and turning points across many areas of life.
Water holds memory and is the amniotic essence of sacred creation. The way water reflects light is magical. Let’s remember to bless and be grateful for all the water in the world—this gratitude raises its energetic frequency. We are the river of life, so let’s trust the river.
On a spiritual level, Pisces reminds us that we exist in oneness more than separation. The Pisces part of us returns home—to Source, unity, and oneness with all life. When I contemplate Pisces, I often see splashes and drops of water returning to the sea, just as individual souls reconnect to an infinite celestial ocean of life.
This equinox energy supports us in letting go of outworn stories and beliefs about our life path. “What if it was never your path to take in the first place, but one others encouraged you toward based on their own beliefs, conditioning, and wounding? You have freed yourself enough to choose a path that is new, exciting, and truly yours. As we arrive at this new energetic balancing point, we can accept endings with grace and compassion, while embracing new beginnings with wonder. Let’s navigate these energies with curiosity and excitement, and nurture our truest desires.
Soon after the equinox, the Sun forms a conjunction with Neptune in Aries, and a few days later aligns with Saturn in Aries. This offers another opportunity to embody a new soul-led vision—one that becomes more tangible as we make new choices, take decisive action, and initiate new beginnings.
In conclusion, this Aries spring equinox represents a profound opportunity to rebalance our energy field and rebirth a more conscious, aligned, and empowered identity. This sacred soul fire is igniting a renewed passion for why we are here and what we are here to do. The rise of new light codes within the Sun is, quite literally, awakening a new light within us.
