Full Moon in Libra * Bridge to the New
Dear star friends, bonjour,
Welcome to the incredibly dynamic, fast-moving energies of April! Thank you for joining me. The Sun and many planets are now in Aries and moving in direct motion all month. As the fastest-moving Zodiac sign, the Ram is accelerating energy in many directions and dimensions of life for the next few weeks.
In my own life, I have noticed an increase in professional communications since the equinox, and can feel people expressing themselves more directly, with less inhibition and more joy. Aries naturally boosts life force energy and passion for life. Ready. Set. Go!
So, where do you want to go? How will you use this energy? The flow is strong and fast this month, for a reason and a purpose. The magic of Aries is all about bold rebirth - expressing new vitality, just like new flowers and plants bursting with life everywhere in nature. It is time for us to rise and bloom in authentic ways. Let's embrace this sacred fire energy to step into our courageous, sovereign selves - and build something new.
The Full Moon in Libra is exact at 9:38 pm EDT on April 1. Essentially, this Libra Moon beckons us to create more balance, harmony, and connection in our personal and social universe. We all have unique ways of contributing to that, and in moments when we are overwhelmed or don't know what to do, we can always take some time to breathe calmly and intentionally. As an Air sign, Libra naturally activates life force through breath.
In its most beautiful expression, this Full Moon in the kind and loving light of Libra is like a blanket of love that can offer grace to the soul and anchor more peace in the world. Saturn is still in close conjunction with Neptune in Aries, which is one of the most important astrological events of the year. One of the innumerable ways this energy is being expressed in the world is through a tightening or restriction (Saturn) in the flow of oil through waterways (Neptune). When we zoom out to encompass this whole decade, we see the beginning of a massive dissolution of an ancient world order. This breakdown is necessary in order to birth a more evolved and empowered cycle of life for humanity and planet Earth.
Venus, ruler of Libra, just shifted into Taurus on March 30. This influx of earthy Taurus energy will help to stabilize some of the feisty and edgy Aries fire at this time. Venus now forms a square aspect with Pluto, which connects the planet of love and relationships to the planet of emotional intensity and transformation. This cosmic connection brings our awareness down to the core of our relationship patterns, and that could stir up some strong feelings. Give yourself some space and grace for whatever comes up that is ready for reintegration.
This Full Moon shines a light on what we need from one another, and how we show up for ourselves and the people in our lives.
Chiron is closely conjunct Eris in Aries as we begin April. Chiron reminds us that a significant part of life is a healing journey, and Eris reminds us to stand strong in our personal power. Our soul healing assignment is to reclaim our courage, confidence, and inner sovereignty, especially in times of great transition.
Without a doubt, there is a lot of chaotic, turbulent energy rumbling around the globe; but if we lose our inner center of balance, we can easily get lost in the noise. This Libra Full Moon reminds us that reconnection, recalibration, and rebalancing our personal and collective energy field with grace, kindness, and peace is always a very important, necessary, and constructive practice. Our Libran circuits are designed to cultivate relationship and belonging in a healthy sense of community. We are building new physical and energetic bridges of connection.

Let's bring Jupiter into this conversation, which is the easiest planet to see in the night sky. It's the second brightest planet (after Venus), and is always the first star you see after sunset. Also known as Zeus in the Greek pantheon, Jupiter represents faith, hope, joy, growth, and enthusiastic possibility because of its immense size and consistent brightness. Jupiter forms a square aspect to the Sun and Full Moon, and can offer us a boost of hope at a very crucial time.
If you want to boost your faith and connection to the living cosmos, spend some time outdoors where you can see the Full Moon and Jupiter. Meditate on the infinite power and wisdom of Jupiter, the Moon, and the stars, like loving spirit guides. Express what you want to build and expand in your life and notice what comes into your awareness. I love doing this myself whenever I get the chance. The celestial realms are a part of nature, and our nature. We live in constant symbiosis with Earth and the universe as multidimensional, galactic beings.
In conclusion, this Full Moon can support us in a profound letting go and moving on, trusting the flow of life in many new directions and new beginnings. It asks us to stay receptive to supportive energies - people, places - that better match our frequency, nourish our body, and feel good in the heart. It invites us to dance with life, strengthen existing bonds, create new friendships, and embrace new collaborations and mutually beneficial partnerships.
