Full Moon in Gemini ♊️ Live Your Truth

Warm greetings from the stars! Welcome to the last Full Moon of the year, designed to propel us into the brand-new vistas of 2026. Thank you for joining me in this astrological, psychological, emotional, and spiritual exploration of the cosmic currents flowing in mid-December 2025.

We can anticipate the meaning and unique energy of a Full Moon ahead of time, but it is also beneficial to reflect on its influence after its maximum luminosity, because we continue to feel its potent energies and celestial guidance for many days. This Full Moon in Gemini was exact on December 4 at 6:14 pm ET, at 13° of Sagittarius. If you know your chart, have a look to see what 13° of Gemini and 13° of Sagittarius activate in your life. Gemini represents the communication specialist within the human psyche. It is through our Gemini faculties that we perceive information through words, pictures, symbols, and body language. We are continually bombarded with mental stimulation coming from our external environment as well as thoughts and messages arising within our own mind. This Full Moon teaches us to become better receivers and channellers of the constant powerful flow of information and sensory input that we feel in our mind, body, and heart.

Gemini also connects to our nervous system, which can so easily get frazzled—especially during highly energetic times before the holiday season. Here is something simple I like to do to stay grounded and maintain inner harmony. You probably do this as well: gently breathe with hands on the heart and belly, giving yourself a moment to just be and breathe a few times a day. We can feel like we need a week-long retreat, but short, consistent mindful breathing and self-care check-ins are very easy. We are learning to normalize these practices.

Gemini is ruled by Mercury, which is fresh from its shift back to forward motion in Scorpio. Mercury in Scorpio is all about deep seeing, inviting us to access our Eagle vision to investigate and explore our deeply embedded mental programming, conditioning, and narratives that have been active in this life, in recent past lives, and through our parents and ancestors. This Full Moon asks us to release any disempowering stories, beliefs, expectations, or social customs regarding how we “should” think, communicate, or live.

For many days before and after this Full Moon, Mercury forms a smooth geometric connection—a trine—to Jupiter in Cancer and to Saturn in Pisces. This creates a grand water trine pattern.

I have been seeing and feeling powerful waves of water energy cleansing and washing away the calcification of old densities within us and in the collective reality. Astrology is always steeped in universal, divine intelligence; it makes perfect sense that a massive individual and collective shedding of old energies is necessary to make way for the higher-dimensional energy coming in 2026 and over the next few years.

This is why the collective vibe has been so intense in recent months: repressed and suppressed energy is coming up to be felt, honoured, healed, transmuted, integrated, and released.

Can you feel this immense cleansing? I felt an impulse to wash all my floors and visualize releasing old feelings and energies that no longer feel supportive. This Full Moon marks an energetic peak and emotional culmination that lasts for many days. What does your body, mind, or heart feel like doing to release old energies?

This powerful Full Moon calls us to channel and express our most authentic truth when we speak with ourselves and with others. When we show up in the world in a new way, some people may feel uncomfortable, uncertain, or even triggered. Gemini is also about choices. We can choose to play it safe and try not to change anything, or we can face our fear and embrace a more empowered version of ourselves, trusting that with time the people we care about will accept our growth. Sometimes, we may need to walk away for a while.

And so, with all this clearing and recalibration, 2026 is already happening now. Let’s use this Full Moon in Gemini to redirect our focus and conscious attention toward the truth that forever animates our heart, soul, and body. May we speak our truth clearly, calmly, and confidently to ourselves and others as much as possible.

Since Gemini and Mercury rule communication, they connect strongly to the throat chakra. This is a powerful opportunity to heal our throat chakra by facing any fear related to self-expression and honouring the deepest truth we know. It is very normal to feel scared or apprehensive regarding our evolving identity and the best choices to make moving forward. No one knows for sure what is coming or what the future will look like, because we are the ones creating it. Let’s remember that we are always guided and supported by our home planet and a benevolent universe.

The Sun is travelling through Sagittarius with Mars on one side and Venus on the other, increasing the potency of Mars (inner Warrior) and Venus (goddess of love). There is a sense of grand adventure and transformational journey in the air. In my personal reflections lately, I often see ships getting ready to sail, loading the cargo we may need on our journey. I love the metaphoric imagery of being the captain of our own ship navigating our soul’s unique trajectory.

This symbolism harmonizes beautifully with mutable energy—adaptable winds, shifting currents, and exploration of new horizons. What does your inner Captain and ship look and feel like? With Mars and Venus both at equal distance from the Sun, I see our life-ships moving together with power and grace.

The Full Moon and the Sun are both in a tight square aspect with the South and North Nodes of the Moon, which are fascinating and powerful symbols of our collective past (South Node) and evolutionary future (North Node). The North Node points to our soul’s greatest evolution and most authentic path of growth—it’s what we came here to experience.

We have arrived at a time of incredibly significant choice points—karmic crossroads. Do we want to stay with what is familiar in our past, or do we want to pivot and bring our focus toward what we want to create in our future? The South Node in Virgo reminds us how much we have relied on pure logic, overextending, or pushing too hard to succeed. The North Node in Pisces invites us to guide our decisions with a stronger focus on intuition, compassion, ease, and flow.

This grand square is happening in the mutable signs: Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, and Pisces. Mutable energy is about adapting to change, trusting, and going with the flow in dynamic fluidity. It can feel destabilizing because it is not static or fixed. But the deeper purpose of all this mutable energy is to open and expand us into a new level of freedom and adventure—hope and faith to explore new worlds, new frontiers, new realms, a new reality, a new Earth, a new you, a new universe. Let’s trust the journey.
