STAR 🌟 NOTES : March 14, 2025

Welcome to the first and important eclipse of the year, exact on March 14, at 2:55 am EDT. Thank you for joining me and sending everyone warm blessings and loving energy. Once again, I have many messages to share in this post, so get comfortable and take your time to fully appreciate and absorb the information. I hope you enjoy this transmission!
Eclipses are like cosmic wild cards that can bring sudden, unexpected and powerful events. The month of March will call us to cultivate patience and focus as we ride the intensely tumultuous waves of evolutionary change flowing through 2025. Hang in there dear friends! We are not powerless; in fact, we are learning that we are incredibly powerful and that often, it is in the face of adversity that we rekindle the flames of deep strength, courage and resiliency in our heart and soul that are always there ready to be activated when required. It is time!
One of the most fascinating and important things I have noticed so far this year is the speed at which a very surprising or shocking event can happen, followed very quickly by another change as energy naturally corrects itself when it is pushed too far in imbalance or injustice. The sacred Warrior is rising up stronger and faster in response to the rise of obvious dark forces. I associate the highest vibration of Pisces and Neptune energy with the benevolent will of the universe. More and more of us are consciously tapping in to this divine light and reclaiming a more healed, aligned and empowered version of ourselves from our soul’s memory steeped in Earth school wisdom.
With the Sun, Saturn, Neptune and North Node all conjunct in Pisces, opposite the Full Moon in Virgo, there are many planets in Mutable signs in this eclipse sky, which highlights the flowing, morphing, malleable quality of energy at this time as we get very close to the rebalancing magic of the spring equinox. The grand adventure of life we call“reality”is shifting very quickly and suddenly, and this is just the beginning. Here in Canada, we are feeling it quite powerfully, and it is not a coincidence that the totality of this eclipse is travelling through the entirety of the Americas. The social, political, economic and power dynamics in North America are at the epicentre of shock waves rippling out across the entire world. The months of March and April are ushering in a bold new chapter in our collective evolution, so trust the flow and go with the flow because life is always in Flow.
This Full Moon Eclipse shines a very bright light on the necessary function of Virgo at this time. As an Earth sign, Virgo energizes our physical body to function in optimal performance, and it helps us to stay grounded, embodied and in harmonious relationship with nature and the Earth. Virgo teaches us about the importance of health, wellness and self care, which is no longer a luxury; it is a fundamental and necessary part of every day life. We can greatly benefit from a variety of healing practices such as: meditation, deep and relaxed breathing, yoga, dance, sport, exercise, Qi-Gong, Somatic Experiencing, Reiki, prayer and plenty of rest. What are your newest or favorite self care practices and rituals? Ultimately, Virgo in harmony with Pisces reminds us to purify the body, mind, heart and soul, and develop a stronger connection to source and oneness in preparation for a profound rebirth.
This Full Moon in Virgo also brings a clarifying light to examine the ways in which we show up in service to the world. Are there any changes you would like to make in your work life? Or perhaps there are changes thrust upon you and it is simply time to re-orient yourself on a new or slightly different service path that better reflects your truest gifts and abilities. With the Sun conjunct Saturn for a few days as well, we are called to see what is truly going on in our inner and outer world. Since Saturn is all about duty, responsibility, authority and maturity as well as boundaries, Saturn’s passage through Pisces reminds us that reality is not fixed at all; it is becoming much more fluid, complex, nuanced and multifaceted, which reflects the amazing multidimensionality of the universe. The gift of deep connection is understanding and appreciating the beautiful complexity inside everyone.
The energy signature of 2025 can feel like a series of zigzags or like taking one step forward and half a step backward. On the one hand, we soon have the spring equinox when the Sun enters Aries, plus a super charged Solar Eclipse New Moon in Aries on March 29 and the very next day, we have Neptune moving into Aries for the first time in 164 years! As the first sign of the Zodiac, the archetypal symbol of the Leader, Pioneer, Hero and Warrior inside all of us, Aries represents a gargantuan leap forward on our personal and collective journey. However, we also have significant retrogrades involving Venus and Mercury in March and April. These two planets are currently in the early degrees of Aries, but will retrograde back into the late degrees of Pisces for a few weeks, before re-entering Aries in April.
Saturn will join Neptune in Aries starting in late May, which will radically energize Aries again until the fall when Saturn and Neptune both retrograde back into the late degrees of Pisces until early 2026. Can you can feel this zigzag energy? It actually makes perfect sense when you understand the scope of the evolutionary shifts we are going to experience over the next 2 years. It always takes a couple of years for a distant planet like Uranus, Neptune or Pluto to complete the shift from one sign to the next because they also represent a seismic shift in collective consciousness.
Let’s talk about more about this Venus retrograde. Interesting fact: Venus retrogrades are relatively rare. It only happens every 18 months, compared to Mercury which is retrograde 3 times a year for 3 weeks at a time. Venus is now in retrograde motion from March 1st until April 12th. This is a 40-day opportunity to review everything to do with our inner Venus: relationships, values, aesthetics, resources and finances to name a few. 40 days is an archetypally significant period of time that is universally recognized in many epic stories.
This Venus retrograde cycle is a profound inner journey to reflect on current relationships or past relationships which may come up in our awareness or resurface in our lives in some way for a healing message or readjustment. Venus retrograde is always a deeply significant time that asks us to revisit where and how we invest our energy. Do our financial and energetic investments in relationships and social activities reflect our true personal values and priorities? If you were born with Venus retrograde like me, you tend to ponder these things quite a bit already, and so this cycle is extra meaningful and worthy of your time and contemplation.
When Venus or any planet moves in retrograde motion, it always appears closer to our Earth and that is why we have been able to see her even more brightly than usual. Venus is the brightest object in the night sky after the Moon and has been easily visible above the western horizon just before and after sunset. It will soon transition into the Morning Star to be visible just before sunrise.
Mercury is going stationary retrograde on March 15, meaning it is stopping it’s movement in the sky (from our perspective of course; it never truly stops its cosmic movement) and will begin reverse motion through the Zodiac until April 7th. Mercury is inviting us to slow down, review, re-evaluate and reflect on our inner and outer communication. Do we consistently speak our truth with grace, respect, honesty and integrity? With Mercury in Aries for most of this retrograde, it is time to focus on healing our throat chakra and align our communication patterns more coherently with our heart and mind in order to reclaim the power of our voice and speak more confidently than ever before because it is needed now more than ever before. It is time to express the power of love more than the love of power!
Both Venus and Mercury invite us on an inner journey to rediscover the unique qualities, value and magic of our being and to communicate with ourselves and others with as much love, grace and compassion as we can.

This month’s series of eclipses represents an epic transition between the energy of Pisces, the last sign of the Zodiac, and Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac. Today’s total lunar eclipse feels like the culmination of this shift, a time of massive shedding, endings, letting go, and surrender to feeling any sense of grief or loss in our personal lives, and collectively as we let go of a very old way of living on Earth. Allow this bright cosmic light to cleanse and purify your energy field in preparation for a deep soul rebirth this spring!
